As a classically trained violist I believe the position I find myself in right now is similar to that of many musicians of my generation: educated to work in an orchestral set-up just like the generations before us. Only the landscape of our world at present and that of the music industry are such that it is inconceivable to rely on this purist attitude and therefore my music represents a cut from the exclusive classical and dives into a relationship with interdisciplinary connections and experimental electronic music.
